Lydia started learning Greek dances 8 years ago. One of her big passions is Rembetiko music (often described as the Greek Blues) this includes a style of belly dance called tsifteteli. Through this Lydia discovered the world of belly dance.
She has now been belly dancing for 4 years, in addition the Greek Tsifteteli she has added Egyptian, Turkish and Tribal Fusion to her repertoire.
In 2007 she performed Tsifteteli at Celebrating Dance and earned herself an excellent write-up in Mosaic Magazine.
